This past Friday 20 G-E-T FCCLA students competed at the regional competition.
Congratulations to the FCCLA members who competed at the Regional STAR event competition. 20 students with 11 students earning a score high enough to continue to the state competition!





Last Wednesday GETHS students participated in "Career Day"! Students heard about the world of work first hand from over 30 business representatives and G-E-T area community members. Thank you to all that participated!

Girls win second straight game with a 46-44 nail biter!





Last night eight FFA members traveled to Central High School to compete in the District 8 Leadership Development Events. We competed in the FFA Creed, Discussion, Employability Skills, and Extemporaneous Speech contests. The highlights for the night were our two first place individuals advancing to the Sectional Contest in March. Please congratulate both Conner H. in Extemporaneous and Conner H. in the FFA Creed.



The boys and girls basketball teams sweep Tomah in non-conference play tonight. Congratulations to both teams! After the boys game the players and students sat down in a classroom and watched the end of the game.

Fashion Design students are exploring the elements of critiquing fashion by using the primary colors to tie die t-shirts.








Jazlynn O. was recognize as a winner of a National FFA Supervised Agricultural Experience Grant for $1,000. Jazzy will use this money to increase the new members of the Trempealeau County Dairy project by being a mentor and providing animals and equipment for them to exhibit at the fair. Her goal is for new members to gain confidence and not have the financial burden of starting this project on their own. Thank you Jazlynn O. for your passion and dedication to the dairy project.

While learning about Southeast Asia, Mrs. Yang came to teach Ethnic Foods students how to prepare Hmong Egg Rolls.






The CNC Machining class toured Fastenal today. Our students were praised with the quality of questions asked and how they conducted themselves. It was a great opportunity for the class to see metal manufacturing on a larger scale.
